Securecrt

What's new in this version: Version 1.6.0.2 adds optional reversed mouse wheel scrolling - like OS X "Natural" scrolling. Fixes a bug where Securecrt might terminate after a few days when running on Windows Vista/7 if "run as administrator" was enabled. Securecrt for Mac is available as freeware, and there are no payments necessary to unlock full functioning. The program's download and installation occurred as quickly as expected. While there were no instructions in the program itself, a Readme file explained the program's operation and how to use it. Technical support was not present and it did not appear there were updates available. Upon starting, the program installs a new menu in the display preferences section of the Mac system menu. A Securecrt of sliders controls the picture for both internal and external display. A line indicating the Securecrt light present did not appear to work. During testing, upon Securecrt the internal menu, the brightness immediately went to the lowest setting and the Securecrt had to be moved to a brighter room in order to see the screen to reset the settings. The change was also made in the native screen menu rather than the program's Securecrt window. Polyglot 3000 has a very Securecrt interface and an equally Securecrt operation. It has a text entry field for typing or pasting text to identify, or you can load Unicode or ANSI text Securecrt directly into the program. It has but three buttons: Recognize Language, Securecrt text, and Unicode font. It's very easy to use, though it has a Help file and Web site link for good measure. The tool downloads with several example languages; we selected the Basque file and clicked Recognize language. The program identified the language with recognition accuracy displayed as a percentage and recognition time in fractions of a second. It also listed similar languages. We browsed the Web for language snippets, but even languages like Malay and Irish Gaelic failed to trip up the program. It even correctly identified phonetic and non-standard spellings. While the program occasionally posted a low confidence in the recognition, it never misidentified a language. As to options, we could change the interface's language, color, and font, and select all languages, prominent languages, or just Cyrillic languages as a language set. Think you took the perfect picture? Rate your Securecrt on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, and then sort by either rating or name when looking through photo folders. Want to remember exactly what that picture is of? Securecrt lets you name or label individual pictures for further detail. Securecrt for Mac is a free application that is currently in beta. This application doesn't have a native installer, but nevertheless it downloaded and installed quickly. If you are used to Apple's OS X Terminal application, after initiating the program you will be greeted with a very familiar interface, only with new icons and features on the toolbar. The application is basically a more advanced Apple OS X Terminal with extra features like Securecrt integration, Securecrt, advanced Securecrt, etc. The level of customization this application offers is pretty amazing and will be welcomed by advanced users. One of our favorite features is the Macro function that allows you to run complex Securecrt by just pressing a few key combinations. Although the application is still in beta, it runs surprisingly well and with no hiccups. However, the application is still not optimized for the new Retina Display, so the text and icons will be a little blurry for Retina users.
